Where can you go swimming with children?
Outdoor bath south + Erich-Rademacher-Baths
Freibad Süd - located at the terminus of Tram lines 3 and 9, offers a children's playground as well as slides, diving board, shallow water area, etc. The many trees provide enough shade.
Unfortunately, this is not the case at the Erich-Rademacher-Bad in Olvenstedt. Here the little ones can romp, slide and dive in the baby pool really great. But unfortunately, for some shade, you have to borrow an umbrella or a beach shell. The non-swimmer pool also offers lots of water games. The big slide is great even for the 2 year olds. The only problem is that it's impossible to climb the stairs with a child in your arms - the steps are far too steep and too small. Good that the lifeguards are so friendly and help. Advantage here: There is plenty of parking next to the school.
Right next door is the Olvenstedt indoor swimming pool. In addition to the swimmer's lane, there is also a warmer shallow water pool here. Swimming aids, bathing islands, etc. can be rented.
Who offers baby swimming courses?
We can recommend the courses at the Sudenburg practice clinic run by Barbara Großmann, Bahrendorfer Str. 16 , 39112 Magdeburg.
The age groups are well divided. Advantage here: You can not only go with the very young ones to get used to water, but also do the first swimming exercises with the older ones.
Baby swimming courses are also offered at the Olvenstedt hospital.
