Certificates & examinations

Instructors can check whether certificates required for courses can also be provided in another form. In doing so, care must be taken to ensure that the performance certificates are adequate in terms of the scope and nature of the competencies to be acquired.

Upon application to the examination board, students may be permitted to take the examination on another date. In the case of written examinations, this should normally be the second examination date. In the case of oral examinations, the examination board determines the date. This may be approved if

-the child is ill, or

-the daycare center/school is closed due to an unforeseeable event, e.g. strike due to industrial action.

and care is not otherwise assured. Students must provide proof of this. The final decision is at the discretion of the examination board.
