Cathryn Neumann-Taubert
Cath is an illustator, lettering artist and graphic designer for whom a life without art is unthinkable. She was most influenced by living in South America and attending a School of Creative Art in South Africa.
Her time in South Africa and her faith are her greatest source of inspiration from which she draws her creativity. Her art deals with the themes of seeking and finding, with a focus on empowerment and self-care.

About her Works
Mainly she paints the analog mixed media images with watercolor and acrylic paints. The digital images and illustrations she draws with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and ProCreate, drawing inspiration from biographies of strong personalities, clichés, fixed role models and the self-perception of women.
Inspiration and Motivation
"The topic of femininity and empowerment appealed to me very much, because even in the arts women continue to be underrepresented and do not receive the appreciation that men do. Women are still not given much credit today, they are discriminated against and limited in their development opportunities."
