An assembled jury from the OVGU evaluated the submitted concepts:
Diversity Challenge Award Ceremony
The OVGU wants to be a "university for all". All members of the university should experience appreciation - regardless of discrimination. This is precisely why the OVGU must critically ask itself: Are we open to otherness? Do all have the same prerequisites when studying and also opportunities? Can everyone develop their potential and contribute their abilities? Does working together without prejudice and appreciation really work?
Based on the idea of the Diversity Charter, a student Diversity Challenge was launched. Students were able to submit concepts in teams to make diversity visible, break down barriers and collect ideas together for a more colorful OVGU. Accompanying the challenge, a tutorial was offered for students to consult and network with each other. On March 29 and 30, the award ceremony for the first three places and the recognition of all participants took place. In close cooperation with the students, the (further) implementation of the ideas will follow.
Below you will find all the information on the individual projects, initiatives and concepts. Enjoy reading!
