Maintenance advance
Single parents can request advance maintenance payments if the other parent is unable to pay any or sufficient maintenance. A corresponding court judgment against the other parent is not necessary. If the parent is fully or partially able to pay, he or she will be claimed by the state in the amount of the advance maintenance payment made. You can find more information here and here.
